MESSAGE FROM THE CITY MANAGER

Greetings South Fulton ,
I am honored to serve the City of South Fulton under the leadership of the Honorable Mayor William “Bill” Edwards and the seven dynamic members of our City Council. Together, we are pleased to present the June edition of the South Fulton Monthly, the City’s official e-newsletter. South Fulton is one of Georgia’s five largest cities, with a population estimated at more than 100, 000 residents, home to more than 1,300 businesses, covering a diverse geographic area of more than 85 square miles. Leveraging Council’s five key priorities (1. Improve Parks and Recreation 2. Improve Public Safety 3. Economic Development 4. Updating Comprehensive & Land Use Plans 5. Create Branding & Messaging) for the City, our staff is committed to ensuring our residents receive world class customer service, and access to resources that support a safe, inclusive, innovative, and economically vibrant city. Please accept this offering as a monthly look into our progress towards supporting these five priority areas. #OnwardSouthFulton

Mayor William "Bill" Edwards
The opportunity to serve the citizens and businesses of the City of South Fulton continues to be my primary motivation shared by both the City Council and City staff. Together, we are focused on sending a strong and positive message to residents, businesses, and developers. "We Are On the Rise."
I am excited about the array of City activities around public safety, community outreach, and fiscal responsibility. Promises made, should be promises kept. I thank you all and give you my commitment to uphold our leadership. Together with the City Council, I will continue to move our City forward, and remain excited for what we will accomplish together.
