It is time
once again to celebrate Family Fun Day!

Come out
and join us as we host the 16th Annual Family Fun Day event at
Sweetwater Creek State Park. Over the years we have had
thousands of people join us for this fun filled day. So come out on Saturday,
May 20, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m.
 and
enjoy a day of food, fun, health screenings, games, and fellowship.

Every year
we stock the lake with over 2,000 catfish to ensure each child lands a
catch!!! So bring your friends and family and join us!

Last year,
over 1,500 people participated in the Family Fun Day, of which 400 were
senior citizens, and we believe that number is growing every
year. Hundreds of children and families come out and enjoyed our famous
“Fish Fry”! All of this is made possible through generous
donors and sponsors. We want to take the time out to
thank those who have helped over the years in making this
event successful. We welcome others to be a part of this
great event by donations and or sponsorships: Please make your
check payable to: The Georgia Hunting and Fishing Federation
and mailed to P.O. Box 154, Hoboken, Ga 31542.

On behalf
of the thousands of constituents that came out and participated, we
thank the organizations and individual donors for making this
event a huge success.

I want to
thank Kroger and Publix for their support of this event over the years
as well as The North Georgia Labor Council, Waste Management,
The Boy Scouts, The Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Flowers
Bakery and Gopher Plantation, Georgia Beverage Association,
AT&T, Miller Zell, Greystone Power, Georgia Poultry Association,

West
Georgia Ambulance, Grady Hospital and others who have helped to make
this event a wonderful experience for the children and seniors
that attend.

We are
looking forward to seeing everyone again on Saturday,
May 20,2017
. If you have any question or
know anyone that would like to volunteer or assist with this
event, please email the planning committee at
rbruce5347@aol.com

Warm
regards,
