Join us Thursday, November 9th at the Fairburn Youth Center as we honor our community Veterans for their service and courage. Please share with the Veterans in your life! .

East Point Farmer's Market & Food Truck Court Every Wednesday- All Year Long

 Summer Hours from 4-7pm! 

Rain or Shine. Markets are held in the Downtown Commons, 2757 East Point St. (behind the East Point Library & one block from the EP MARTA Station). Come and get your fresh produce, baked goods, handmade art and dinner all at the same place! The farmer's market, thru a partnership with Wholesome Wave Georgia, doubles EBT benefits (up to $50) on eligible market items. Please help us spread the word by sharing this on social media and with friends, neighbors and family.

October 27, 2-5pm: Fall Festival Senior Talent 

Presented by the Department of Parks and Recration for seniors 50 and over. Line Dancing, Solos, Trivia Questions and more. Held at Jefferson Park Recreation Center, 1431 Norman Berry Drive. To register, please contact Stephanie Maddox at 404-270-7049





October 28, 10am-2pm: Medication Take Back and Sharps Disposal . Held at WellStar Atlanta Medical Center South-Main Lobby, 1170 Cleveland Ave. No questions asked and no ID needed. Partnership with the City of East Point Police Department and the DEA. For more information, call 404-466-1117




October 31, 5-8pm: Halloween Festival 2017 Presented by East Point City Council. The event will be held in Sumner Park, 1889 Lexington Avenue. Featuring food, candy, games, prizes for best costume and much more!




November 2: Monthly East Point Business Meeting from 8:30am-10amHeld at Debbie’s Delight restaurant, 2801 East Point St. Come talk business over some breakfast and coffee with fellow businesses and a representative from the Department of Economic Development, along with a representative from the East Point Police Department providing information about public safety in your area. First Thursday of each month excluding holidays and special events.





November 4, 10am-2pm: FREE Community Recycling Day Held in the Downtown Commons, 2757 East Point St. Hosted by Keep East Point Beautiful. Paper Shredding and Shoe Recycling (bring gently used shoes). 




November 9th, 8am-2pm: Annual Small Business Symposium Held at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel. Must register by November 8th here: https://economic-development.eventbrite.com/ Learn about the fundamentals of starting your business. The $15 registration fee includes lunch. December 1, 5:30pm-7pm: Annual "East Point Celebrates the Holidays" Tree Lighting Event 2757 East Point St. (Downtown Commons) this year! Live performances from area schools, hot cocoa, apple cider and popcorn. Photos with Santa will also be available and the lighting of the new City Holiday Tree will be the finale!
